What the Heck Is It?:

What is this piece of ruby stained glass? You should see the water pitcher that goes with the tumbler. It is gorgeous. We have found similar patterns but not this one. If you have pieces in this pattern we would appreciate learning about them

This custard cup (below, right), awkward to eat from with its bulbous shape, is a real beauty of the molder's art, especially given its early date of 1894. Who am I? Any ideas? Please let us know.Ruby Stained Custard cup Neila Bredehoft has identified this pattern as "Silver Queen" or "Elemino", see Heacock Book 7.

The cruet (below, left) is a cut and shut. I also have a matching syrup. Again there are a lot of similar patterns in the references but not this one. If there are only the two forms in the Ruby Stain Cut & shut cruetpattern, this may explain the lack of knowledge about the pattern. Any other forms? Pattern name? Identified by David Kastor as Cooperative Flint Glass Company No.376 Gothic Arch.

Send along some of your unknowns, in photographs, and I will give them some publicity. Please send floppies or CDs in JPG format.

Miscellaneous:

Send your information and letters. Please comment. I hope that I have taken a position somewhere in this newsletter that makes you "upset" enough to write. And remember, this is for your personal use and copying for any purpose is not allowed. It is free. Where else are you going to get this kind of information for this expense?
